The Phoenix Velo Youth Group is part of Phoenix Velo Training Group. A not for profit cycling club in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia.
Its aim is to introduce young people aged 8 to 18 to the sport of bicycle racing in British Columbia.
We will look into forming a youth race team this season with thoughts of going to BC Superweek.
Day and Time: Wednesday's 5:30pm, visit the race and ride series page those wishing to use a club provided bike should come at 5:30 to 6:00pm.

We provide bicycles, coaching and a training area free from traffic.
The Phoenix Youth Group will focus on individual fitness and skills. The Group will learn the principles of riding a road racing bike including cornering, braking and gear selection.
Training exercises will include skills development, short distance sprints as well as longer distance rides. Races will be efforts over varying distances
and riders will be able to chart their improvements throughout the season.
The Group will meet once per week on Wednesday night ( cancelled if the track is wet ) at 5:30pm for sign on and bike check.
The training session last 45 minutes from 6:00pm to 6:45pm.
Parents are encouraged to remain trackside.
Riders must ride a road bicycle fitted with drop handlebars, the use of “tri-bars” is not allowed in the youth group.
The club has a limited supply of loaner bicycles which are intended to allow new riders to try the sport. Riders wishing to use Club bicycles must arrive at 5:15pm, please note that:
