Phoenix Velo Youth Group

The Phoenix Velo Youth Group is part of Phoenix Velo Training Group. A not for profit cycling club in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia.
Its aim is to introduce young people aged 8 to 18 to the sport of bicycle racing in British Columbia.
We will look into forming a youth race team this season with thoughts of going to BC Superweek.

Day and Time: Monday's 6:00pm, visit the race and ride series page

We provide bicycles, coaching and a training area free from traffic.

The Phoenix Youth Group will focus on individual fitness and skills. The Group will learn the principles of riding a road racing bike including cornering, braking and gear selection.
Training exercises will include skills development, short distance sprints as well as longer distance rides. Races will be efforts over varying distances

The Group will meet once per week on Monday night ( cancelled if the track is wet ) at 5:15pm for sign on and bike check.
